About Mr Rokusho

Mr Rokusho is a personal project built around one idea:

Make it yours.

It began with mountain bikes — often older frames — rebuilt, adapted, and used rather than collected. Some stay close to original. Others evolve through restoration, modification, and modern parts. Nothing is fixed. Nothing is finished.

Rokusho (緑青) refers to the natural patina that forms on metal over time. It reflects use, age, and honesty of materials — but it isn’t a rule. Clean builds, new components, and refinement all have a place here.

What matters is intent.

This is a space to document builds, parts choices, and how bikes change through time and use. From time to time, parts or small runs may appear — things used, trusted, or made as part of ongoing projects.

No hype. No absolutes.
Just bikes shaped by preference, use, and ownership.

Make it yours.
